Last month, London Zoo staff carved fun Halloween designs into pumpkins and added different foods in them to give to its animals.
“With pumpkins in season, they are a sustainable snack ... Others just love tearing them apart,” Dan Simmonds, zoological operations manager, told PA Media.
The Galapagos tortoises, which are herbivores that normally eat fruit, enjoyed the pumpkin flesh on its own.
